Construction Labourer Required
Construction Labourer/ Glasgow, Scotland

In 2023 we celebrated our 45th business anniversary, and have been a family owned and operated company since 1978. We provide a design, supply & installation service to our valued clients on a wide range of prestigious commercial and domestic projects. We are now looking to recruit a Construction Labourer to join our team.
The Purpose/ Background
To provide general labouring and to support the site teams. This position is full-time, with a working shift schedule of 8 hour shifts Monday (8:00am-4.30pm) to Friday (8:00am-3.30pm). You will have a professional approach with the ability to confidently work both well in a team and using your own initiative.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Loading out materials and tools needed for a project
• Building access tower
• Assisting the site installation teams
• Capable of undertaking basic jobs
• Collecting materials from suppliers
• Tidying up and cleaning tools
Key Requirements:
• Physically fit
• Experience in working on busy sites
• Valid driving licence if possible
• Current CSCS required
• Be comfortable working at height
• Must be able to make their way to a job and be able to work away from home as the role requires
• Have good communication skills and able to communicate honestly, effectively and professionally
• Adhere to safety rules on site, including wearing PPE at all times
• Be reliable and trustworthy
• Effective time management
• Able to deliver high quality works in line with project program
• Be able to work as a team and also alone on projects
• Have a strong work ethic and take pride in what they do
