St Cecilia's Hall, Edinburgh
Main Contractor | Interserve

29th May 2018
The refurbishment of this old building was based on the desire of the University of Edinburgh to improve awareness, function and amenity of St Cecilia's Hall, as an appropriate home for there world class collection of musical instruments.
The coloured stainless steel Rimex panels were waterjet cut to the shapes and patterns lifted off old instruments from within the building.
This gives a fantastic look to the exterior screen and allows light to flood into the building.
Page Park Architects have now won the EAA award for Regeneration & Conservation 2018 for this project
